2010′s Ta-Hoe Nalu Races (yes – plural raceS) is shaping up to be the biggest paddle event in Lake Tahoe. Register online or register beginning Friday, August 20 at 2:00 PM on the beach in front of Adrift Tahoe.
For online signup and details about the various races scheduled for the weekend, visit the Ta-Hoe Nalu website.
On August 16, Paddle-4-Health, led by Jared Power, is going to fast paddle the Ta-hoe Nalu open race course: King’s Beach to Crystal Bay and back. This is a great opportunity to work on your stroke and pace to get ready for next Saturday’s race. There will be a raffle after the training session…1st prize is a 90 minute bodywork treatment donated by Movement4Life.
Come prepared for some training: Eat well… and give your body time to absorb the nutrients and protein. Come properly hydrated and bring enough water for the training session. Don’t forget your sunscreen.
Barks and 404′s … just arrived and waiting for you to come by and get yours. Are you really going to let your friends out-board you? Ta-Hoe Nalu is around the corner … and don’t forget the 22-miler in September. Perfect timing to get your race board NOW!

Chop … waves … whitecaps … wind … we had it all tonight. Yet, 20 paddlers began and finished the race in pretty tough Lake Tahoe conditions. Congratulations to all the participants!! Job well done!

July 20, 2010 Women on Water -another perfect day for a great paddle. Tuesday mornings WOW’s are a big hit with large groups of women showing up each week.
Today, after a leisure paddle to Speedboat Beach, the women all had developed enough comfort paddling that they were comfortable trying out different boards – from Lakeshore Paddleboard Company, Naish, Tahoe SUP and Bark.
