"Hanga Roa" is the main town, harbor and capital of Easter Island, a Polynesian island renowned for the extant "moai" monumental statues created by the early Rapa Nui civilization. Easter Island or "Rapa Nui" is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, most of which is protected by the Rapa Nui National Park.
Adrift's Surf Model is perfect for handling waves 1' to slightly overhead. This board will also perform well as a multi-purpose recreational cruiser for the family - perfect for taking along the kids, bringing the dog, goin' fishin' and just experiencing the beauty of Big Blue.
When Captain Cook set anchor in Waimea Harbor, Kauai in 1778, he witnessed native Hawaiians surfing on "Alaia" boards. The original Alaia was a fin-less thin round-nosed, square-tailed surfboard ridden in pre-20th century Hawaii. This board is the most stable board on the water.
The Aliaia is Adrift's most stable board. This board allows anyone e to succeed at standup paddleboarding. This is the perfect platform for fishing, yoga, expeditions or even surfing small to medium waves.
The Knot 5 and Knot 6 are Adrift's Race Boards. One pound foam construction makes these boards extraordinarily light and fast.
The all-white epoxy keeps the board cool in the sun.

Tule, a form of reed, was used by ancient watermen to build watercraft. These tule watercrafts were used by ancient Polynesians to fish, surf and circumnavigate the oceans. The Polynesian culture and art was introduced to mainstream America when World War II soldiers returned from the South Pacific. Adrift celebrates the return to paradise by juxtaposing the moai, a Rapanui image with military camouflage.
Adrift's Tule Board is a piercing hull design perfect for fast flatwater paddling. It's a fantastic all purpose recreational board suited for the occasional race to packin' up for camping and touring. This exceptionally lightweight board is deceptively stable in chop and can handle downwinders.
